Job Title: Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Officer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Health, Safety and Environmental Officer to promote and enforce a culture of health and safety within our operations. The successful candidate will ensure full compliance with HSE policies and maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and review health and safety policies and procedures.
-
Conduct regular site and equipment inspections to ensure compliance.
-
Monitor technicians to ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to safety standards.
-
Identify potential hazards and ensure proper waste disposal.
-
Maintain and update HSE registers, documentation, and reports.
-
Organize and lead regular toolbox meetings to promote safety best practices.
-
Foster a culture of safety by engaging employees and providing training where necessary.

Ensure consistent application of safety protocols across all projects.

Coordinate and document safety audits, incidents, and near-miss reports.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in a relevant field.
-
3–5 years of proven experience in a similar HSE role, preferably in facility maintenance or construction.
-
Certifications in HSE, ISO, and/or NEBOSH are highly desirable.
-
Strong knowledge of safety regulations, emergency procedures, and compliance standards.

Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
