About the Role
This is your opportunity to work as an Exercise & Nutrition Therapy Assistant Practitioner, playing a key part in the rehabilitation journey of adults with chronic respiratory conditions. Based in London, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians to deliver tailored exercise programs and nutritional support.
You’ll guide patients through structured routines, support their recovery post-hospitalisation, and contribute directly to their long-term wellness. If you’re passionate about clinical care, teamwork, and helping others regain independence, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities

Lead individual and group exercise sessions tailored to patient needs

Support rehabilitation programs for both inpatients and outpatients

Use tools like spirometry and saturation checks to track progress

Assist in therapy assessments and patient education

Document outcomes and share observations during clinical reviews

Help patients safely use mobility and exercise equipment

Provide weekend support services once training is complete
Requirements
-
5 GCSEs including English and Maths, or NVQ Level 2/3

BTEC or A Levels in a biological sciences or health-related subject

Understanding of exercise physiology and chronic respiratory care

Experience in health, care, fitness, or nutrition-related roles

Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills

Openness to work weekends and public holidays when required
