The Ekiti State Ministry of Trade, Industry, Investment & Cooperatives, in collaboration with the Ekiti State Development and Investment Promotion Agency (EKDIPA), proudly announces the launch of the Ekiti State Export Accelerator Program for MSMEs.

This transformative initiative is designed to empower local entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) with the skills, tools, and strategies needed to compete successfully in the global market. With a focus on practical, hands-on support, the program aims to scale businesses for export and establish them as key players in the international economy.

What the Program Offers

Selected participants will receive access to a comprehensive support package that includes:

Export readiness training and capacity-building workshops
Product quality improvement, branding, and packaging enhancement
Expert guidance on export documentation and compliance
Linkages to financing, export logistics providers, and global buyers
Sector-specific mentorship and business advisory services

UNCTAD Youth Forum 2025 – Apply to Join Global Discussions on Trade & Development

The 5th United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Youth Forum will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, from 20–23 October 2025, alongside the 16th UNCTAD Ministerial Conference.

Theme: “Shaping the Future: Driving Economic Transformation for Equitable, Inclusive, and Sustainable Development”

The Forum brings together students and young professionals aged 18–30 from around the world to engage in meaningful discussions on global trade, economic growth, and development challenges.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must:

Be between 18 and 30 years old
Be fluent in spoken and written English
Have academic or professional experience related to UNCTAD’s areas of work
Demonstrate involvement in projects or initiatives related to trade and development
Submit a short motivation video (max 2 minutes, MP4 format, via YouTube or Vimeo)
Be officially selected and receive a registration link from UNCTAD

Selection Criteria

The selection process will prioritize:

Geographical diversity
Gender balance
Variety of academic and professional backgrounds
Quality, creativity, and originality of the application and video

A selection committee will review all submissions. Successful candidates will be announced on UNCTAD’s social media and invited to complete official registration.

Funding

Participants are expected to cover their own travel and accommodation costs.
