Job Summary
PalmPay is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) who is passionate about building high-performing teams and fostering a strong organizational culture.
The HRBP will act as a trusted advisor to leadership, supporting critical functions with talent management, employee engagement, organizational development, and strategic HR initiatives. This role requires someone with deep HR knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach to solving people-related challenges across a fast-paced, multi-location organization.
Key Responsibilities

Partner with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.

Analyze HR metrics and trends to develop and implement strategic solutions, policies, and programs.

Lead initiatives around employee wellness, diversity and inclusion, and performance management.

Identify training and development needs; implement coaching and upskilling strategies across teams.

Collaborate with business leaders on workforce planning, compensation, and staffing decisions.

Ensure organizational compliance with employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

Guide contract terms for new hires, transfers, and promotions.

Align regional HR practices with global strategies and best practices.

Provide data-driven insights and HR reporting to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements and Qualifications
-
A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 4 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a generalist or HRBP role.

Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, or HRCI) is a strong advantage.
-
Strong knowledge of Nigerian labor laws and HR compliance standards.

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel-based payroll management.

Experience in managing a high headcount and remote teams across multiple locations.

Proven track record in employee coaching and performance management.
-
Ability to build and manage HR data dashboards and metrics.

Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and data analytics tools.
