Position Overview:

DBESL is seeking a highly experienced Project Manager – Offshore Construction Work to lead the planning, execution, and completion of deepwater brownfield offshore projects. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in marine operations, subsea engineering, and project delivery in line with global standards and HSE best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of offshore brownfield projects – from planning and execution to close-out.

  • Develop and implement marine spread strategies, project execution plans, vessel scheduling, and SIMOPS (Simultaneous Operations) procedures.

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary offshore teams (marine, diving, ROV, subsea, and topside).

  • Coordinate all engineering deliverables, including FEED, detailed design, and offshore construction documentation.

  • Manage procurement and logistics for equipment, materials, and vessels.

  • Foster a strong safety, quality, and performance culture among internal teams and subcontractors.

  • Serve as the primary interface with clients, classification societies, regulatory authorities, and subcontractors.

  • Ensure compliance with international standards (API, DNV, ABS), client specifications, and HSE regulations.

  • Conduct risk assessments and monitor project performance through KPIs, dashboards, and regular reports.

Typical Project Scopes May Include:

  • Subsea jumper and manifold replacements

  • Xmas tree and control system change-outs

  • Flowline/umbilical tie-ins and topside upgrades

  • Installation of ESD systems and control modules

  • Structural reinforcement of topside assets

  • Coordination of complex SIMOPS across disciplines

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Subsea Engineering, or a related field (Advanced degree preferred)

  • 10–15 years’ experience in offshore construction, including 5–7 years as a Project Manager for deepwater brownfield projects

  • Valid BOSIET and offshore medical certification

  • Proven knowledge of SIMOPS planning and safe execution

  • Demonstrated experience working with offshore vessels such as DSVs, CSVs, and saturation diving systems

  • Excellent client communication and leadership skills

  • Strong knowledge of engineering documentation, MTOs, rigging/lifting plans

  • Proficiency in project planning software (MS Project/Primavera), Microsoft Office, and engineering tools
