Overview
Are you a rice processor operating within 350 kilometers of Abuja (covering regions in Niger, Nasarawa, Kwara, Kogi, and Kaduna States)? Here’s your chance to participate in a fully-funded, intensive 10-month business training and coaching initiative tailored for rice mills.
The Rice Miller Business Training (RMBT) and Business Development Support (BDS) program is now accepting applications. Brought to you by GIZ-MOVE, the Bühler Group, and Partners in Food Solutions (PFS), this initiative equips rice processors with advanced skills to transform their operations and improve competitiveness in the Nigerian rice value chain.
About the Partners
GIZ-MOVE
The Market-Oriented Value Chains for Jobs and Growth in the ECOWAS Region (MOVE) project, supported by the German government, aims to build inclusive, resilient cashew and rice sectors across West Africa. Its mission is to foster sustainable, job-creating value chains in Nigeria, Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Senegal, Burkina Faso, and Sierra Leone.
Partners in Food Solutions (PFS)
PFS is a nonprofit that connects African agribusinesses with expert volunteers from multinational food companies such as General Mills, Cargill, Bühler, DSM-Firmenich, Hershey, Ardent Mills, and JM Smucker. Their goal: strengthen Africa’s food systems and unlock new opportunities for processors.
Bühler Group
Bühler is a global leader in agro-industrial equipment and innovation, headquartered in Switzerland. With over 170 years of experience and a strong commitment to research, Bühler pioneers sustainable, safe, and efficient technologies in food processing.
