AmplifyChange Opportunity Grant 2025 – Now Open for Applications

AmplifyChange has launched its 2025 Opportunity Grant Program to support bold, innovative advocacy efforts that advance sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in underserved and challenging contexts.

This funding opportunity is designed to empower small and grassroots civil society organisations to develop and scale advocacy initiatives that tackle critical SRHR issues through new ideas and context-specific approaches.

Priority Themes

Eligible projects must align with one or more of AmplifyChange’s core priority areas:

  • Safe Abortion: Expanding access to safe abortion choices

  • Gender-Based Violence: Eliminating violence against women and girls

  • Youth SRHR: Improving sexual health for young people

  • Stigma & Discrimination: Challenging harmful social norms and biases

  • Access: Promoting SRHR services for vulnerable and marginalised communities

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must:

  • Be based in and implement their project within an AmplifyChange-eligible country

  • Be a small or medium-sized organisation, with an average annual expenditure of less than GBP 200,000 over the last two years

  • Provide proof of expenditure (e.g. audited financial report or profit and loss statement)

  • Be either registered or unregistered (unregistered groups must work with AmplifyChange to either register or find a fiscal sponsor)

What Projects Are They Looking For?

AmplifyChange is especially interested in proposals that:

  • Are led by small, grassroots organisations that typically struggle to access funding

  • Aim to tackle the root causes of social discrimination and inequality

  • Pilot innovative ideas or expand on promising practices

  • Empower marginalised communities to demand their SRHR

  • Work toward the development or reform of laws, by-laws, and policies

Outcome Areas

Proposals should contribute to at least one of the following impact areas in AmplifyChange’s Theory of Change:

  • Raising individual awareness of sexual and reproductive health

  • Improving access to SRHR resources, information, and services

  • Transforming social norms

  • Changing policies and laws

  • Building stronger, inclusive SRHR movements

Funding & Duration

  • Grant Amount: Up to GBP 75,000

  • Project Duration: Between 18 and 36 months

  • Applications are strongly encouraged to request an amount that realistically reflects your organisation’s capacity and goals.
