The 8th BRICS Young Innovator Prize will be held as part of the 10th BRICS Young Scientist Forum, taking place from September 15–17, 2025, in Brasília, Brazil, under Brazil’s presidency of the BRICS group.

 Theme:  Artificial Intelligence in Public Service Solutions
How can emerging technologies enhance public services and improve the lives of citizens across BRICS countries?
Note: Only projects related to this theme will be considered.

 Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must be under 40 years old by December 31, 2025.

  • Only original project authors may apply.

  • Applicants must be citizens or permanent residents of a BRICS country (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa).

  • Only one project submission per applicant is allowed.

 Project Requirements:

  • Projects must be innovative and pre-market (not yet available to the public).

  • They may be in early phases like product testing, certification, or pre-launch.

  • The focus must be on providing impactful solutions to major social, economic, environmental, or developmental challenges in BRICS nations.

  • Projects developed within or merged with existing technology companies are not eligible.

 Prizes:

  • 1st Prize: $25,000

  • 2nd Prize: $15,000

  • 3rd Prize: $10,000
    All prizes are subject to verification and compliance with the program rules.

 Submission Materials:

  1. Completed and signed application form

  2. Curriculum Vitae or biography

  3. Recent photo (minimum size: 250×300 pixels)

PICFI Undergraduate Scholarship 2025 – Now Open for Nigerian Students

The PICFI Undergraduate Scholarship is an initiative by the Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship International (PICFI) to provide financial support to deserving undergraduate students across Nigerian universities.

PICFI is an interdenominational Christian organization comprised of believers working in both international and local oil and gas companies in Nigeria.

 Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the PICFI Scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a full-time student at any Federal or State University in Nigeria

  • Be 25 years old or younger by December 31, 2025

  • Be in 200 Level with a CGPA of at least 3.5 (Second Class Upper)

  • Not be receiving any other scholarship from a company or agency

  • Be willing to attend a PICFI National Prayer Conference retreat in person

 Scholarship Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a full scholarship worth ₦200,000.00 annually until graduation.

 Required Documents
