HelpMum CareCode Hackathon 2025 – Apply Now to Win up to ₦4.5 Million!

HelpMum is on a mission to transform maternal and infant health in Nigeria. As part of its ongoing innovation efforts, the organization is launching the HelpMum CareCode Hackathon—a nationwide tech competition focused on finding bold, scalable solutions to some of the country’s most pressing maternal health challenges.

If you’re a student, fresh graduate, or member of Nigeria’s tech community with skills in software development or Artificial Intelligence, this is your opportunity to make a real impact—and get rewarded for it.

 Who Can Apply?

  • Students, recent graduates, and tech professionals in Nigeria

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Open to all genders

  • Applicants may apply individually or as a team (maximum of 3 members)

  • Must reside in Nigeria

  • Proficiency in software development and/or AI is required

 Prize Pool

  • 1st Place: ₦2,000,000

  • 2nd Place: ₦1,500,000

  • 3rd Place: ₦1,000,000

 How It Works

Step 1: Pitch Submission
Submit a 2-minute video pitch introducing your innovative maternal health solution.

Step 2: Development Phase
Selected participants will receive mentorship and begin developing their solutions.

Step 3: Grand Finale
Finalists will present their projects live at HelpMum’s Lagos office for a chance to win.

 Key Guidelines

  • Projects must be cost-effective and easy to implement

  • Industry experts will provide hands-on mentorship

  • All participants must accept the legal terms and conditions

  • Internship opportunities available for top-performing individuals
