The Upskill MSME Virtual Training Program, powered by the Ihifix Innovation Foundation, is a fully online, high-impact initiative designed to equip small business owners in Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa with essential digital, strategic, and financial skills to scale their businesses.

This two-month virtual program blends live expert-led workshops, self-paced certifications, and a real-world hackathon and pitch competition—giving MSME owners the tools and support to drive real transformation in their businesses.

 Program Structure

1. Kick-Off: Live Virtual Workshop

The program begins with a 4-hour interactive live webinar hosted by business and tech experts from Ihifix. Topics include:

  • Business model innovation

  • Scaling strategies

  • Financial planning

  • Digital marketing

  • Tech adoption for business growth

The session features case studies, expert Q&A, and practical frameworks to set the foundation for the rest of the program.

2. Self-Paced Online Learning & Certifications

Participants gain access to curated courses from global platforms like Google and HP Life, covering:

  • Social media marketing

  • Cybersecurity essentials

  • E-commerce and ICT tools

  • Business strategy and leadership

These flexible modules allow MSME owners to learn at their own pace while earning certifications.

3. Hackathon & Final Pitch Competition
