Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manufacturing Operations Manager to oversee and optimize production processes at our Personal Care and Dishwash manufacturing facility. This role will be responsible for managing operational budgets, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving continuous improvement in line with global best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage production operations to achieve optimal output while meeting SQDMC (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Morale, Cost) standards.

  • Monitor and ensure quality control across raw materials, intermediates, and finished products.

  • Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards, including PZ Cussons and NAFDAC requirements.

  • Champion environmental sustainability by ensuring adherence to Environmental Management System (EMS) protocols and documentation.

  • Drive performance management and team development through regular reviews and coaching.

  • Uphold and promote high safety standards across the manufacturing site.

  • Plan, execute, and monitor departmental budgets and manufacturing KPIs.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field; MBA is a plus.

  • Strong computer literacy, especially in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

  • Minimum of 10 years’ work experience, including at least 5 years in a similar leadership role.

  • Excellent quantitative analysis and financial management skills.

  • Broad understanding of manufacturing systems, operations, and team leadership.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 7 years’ sales experience, with extensive commercial knowledge of the Nigerian market.

  • Strong background in airline sales, including use of airline business tools and product selling.

  • Proficiency in preparing reports on sales performance and market trends.

  • Excellent knowledge of GDS systems, ticketing, and travel industry sales.

  • Proven experience in planning, budgeting, and achieving revenue targets.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide sales teams.

  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client and partner relationships.

  • Ability to analyze market and competitor activity to inform strategy.
