Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Logistics Officer to oversee and coordinate the efficient flow of goods and services from point of origin to final delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transportation, warehousing, inventory, and supply chain operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery and overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor end-to-end supply chain activities

  • Ensure efficient transportation of inbound and outbound goods

  • Oversee fleet operations and ensure vehicle maintenance and compliance

  • Monitor inventory levels and delivery schedules to prevent delays or stock shortages

  • Maintain accurate records of logistics and transportation activities

  • Prepare logistics performance reports (delivery, inventory, and cost metrics)

  • Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and maintain proper documentation (waybills, invoices, PODs, etc.)

  • Collaborate with suppliers, transport partners, and internal departments to optimise logistics operations

  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements

  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs

  • Supervise logistics personnel (drivers, warehouse staff) and evaluate their performance

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field

  • 2–4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management

  • Strong knowledge of logistics processes and systems

  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (e.g. SAP, ERP, TMS)

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • On-time delivery rate

  • Transportation cost per delivery

  • Inventory accuracy

  • Fleet utilisation rate

  • Delivery issue resolution time

  • Compliance with safety and regulatory standards
