About the Role

This is your opportunity to work as an Exercise & Nutrition Therapy Assistant Practitioner, playing a key part in the rehabilitation journey of adults with chronic respiratory conditions. Based in London, you’ll work with a multidisciplinary team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and dietitians to deliver tailored exercise programs and nutritional support.

You’ll guide patients through structured routines, support their recovery post-hospitalisation, and contribute directly to their long-term wellness. If you’re passionate about clinical care, teamwork, and helping others regain independence, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead individual and group exercise sessions tailored to patient needs

  • Support rehabilitation programs for both inpatients and outpatients

  • Use tools like spirometry and saturation checks to track progress

  • Assist in therapy assessments and patient education

  • Document outcomes and share observations during clinical reviews

  • Help patients safely use mobility and exercise equipment

  • Provide weekend support services once training is complete

Requirements

  • 5 GCSEs including English and Maths, or NVQ Level 2/3

  • BTEC or A Levels in a biological sciences or health-related subject

  • Understanding of exercise physiology and chronic respiratory care

  • Experience in health, care, fitness, or nutrition-related roles

  • Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills

  • Openness to work weekends and public holidays when required
