About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead and manage the procurement function across local and international operations. This role is integral to ensuring timely, cost-effective, and quality-focused procurement processes that support vessel operations and align with corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities
-
Lead and supervise the purchasing team to process purchase requests (PRs) and purchase orders (POs) efficiently, focusing on backlog management and on-time delivery.

Oversee procurement follow-up processes and implement improvements to drive clarity and speed in workflows.
-
Coordinate tendering and contracting activities; initiate new tenders and maintain existing agreements.
-
Manage invoice processing in line with corporate payment policies (typically 45 days after invoice receipt).
-
Monitor and optimize procurement KPIs, including PR/PO backlog, lead times, delivery ratios, and frame agreement coverage.
-
Conduct regular procurement reviews with ship managers and purchasing officers; track action points and ensure accountability.

Ensure supplier compliance with quality and service standards while optimizing procurement value.

Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to the procurement team.
-
Maintain accurate procurement records, including supplier corrective actions and NCR closures.
-
Ensure effective use and management of the Oracle ERP system.

Act as a functional backup to purchasing team members during absences to ensure continuity.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.
-
5–7 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in the marine logistics or oil & gas industry.

Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP systems and global/local procurement practices.
-
Demonstrated leadership and team coordination experience.
-
Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
-
Solid experience in tendering, contracting, and vendor management.

Job Summary
The Make Ready Coordinator/Security Escort ensures leased residential units are properly prepared for occupancy across all Mission agencies in Abuja. With over 150 short-term leased properties under management, this role plays a vital part in maintaining U.S. Mission housing standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the General Services Office, Facilities Maintenance, and Regional Security Office (RSO) to prepare housing for new staff arrivals.

Inspect residences prior to employee departure to assess damages to government-furnished furniture, appliances, and equipment.

Supervise contractor teams (3–6 staff or more) to ensure work meets U.S. Mission requirements.

Serve as a security escort when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education:

Completion of high school.
Experience:

Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in administration and/or building trades.
Language:

Fluent English (speaking, reading, and writing).
Job Knowledge:
