About the Role:
GE Vernova’s Power Conversion business is looking for a passionate and customer-focused Service Account Manager to support its growing Marine Offshore service operations in Nigeria.

In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key marine clients, managing after-sales service, spare parts delivery, upgrades (CMUs), and long-term service agreements. You’ll coordinate across global teams to ensure vessels remain fully operational throughout their lifecycle—from renewable energy vessels to offshore exploration fleets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day service requests, contract execution, and customer support.

  • Lead the delivery of spare parts, remote support, and field engineering services.

  • Drive profitability and ensure customer satisfaction for assigned service contracts.

  • Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve issues promptly.

  • Track and report financial performance, including cost control and billing.

  • Support sales teams with contract renewals and new proposals.

  • Advocate for customers’ needs while ensuring GE’s service standards are met.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.

  • 5+ years’ experience in customer service or technical account management, preferably in the marine/offshore or industrial sector.

  • Strong negotiation, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

  • Experience handling long-term service agreements and financial documentation.

  • Ability to manage multiple service orders simultaneously and under pressure.

  • Comfortable working with international teams and resolving cross-border logistics.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in engineering or marine systems.

  • Familiarity with revenue recognition, invoicing, and customer billing processes.

  • Strong presentation skills; able to communicate technical issues clearly.

  • Proficiency in service planning tools and ERP systems.

Job Summary

The Make Ready Coordinator/Security Escort ensures leased residential units are properly prepared for occupancy across all Mission agencies in Abuja. With over 150 short-term leased properties under management, this role plays a vital part in maintaining U.S. Mission housing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the General Services Office, Facilities Maintenance, and Regional Security Office (RSO) to prepare housing for new staff arrivals.

  • Inspect residences prior to employee departure to assess damages to government-furnished furniture, appliances, and equipment.

  • Supervise contractor teams (3–6 staff or more) to ensure work meets U.S. Mission requirements.

  • Serve as a security escort when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education:

  • Completion of high school.

Experience:

  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in administration and/or building trades.

Language:

  • Fluent English (speaking, reading, and writing).

Job Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with administrative procedures.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and general computer applications.

  • Strong project management and meeting coordination skills.
