Wendernek Consulting Limited, a leading provider of human resource outsourcing and management solutions in Nigeria, is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Officer to join our team in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: ₦150,000 – ₦200,000 monthly (net)
Job Overview
The Administrative Officer will manage daily office operations, maintain effective records and administration, and support the leadership team with planning and logistics. The ideal candidate will be efficient, detail-oriented, and capable of ensuring the smooth running of administrative and support services.
Key Responsibilities
Office Administration & Front Desk

Manage daily office functions and uphold administrative procedures.
-
Serve as the primary liaison for internal and external communication.
-
Maintain a clean, secure, and organized reception area.
-
Schedule meetings, update calendars, and assist with visitor coordination.
-
Coordinate procurement and supplier engagements.
Administrative Support & Planning
-
Organize meetings, logistics, and documentation including minute-taking.
-
Support department heads with scheduling, reminders, and task follow-up.
-
Provide secretarial and document management support.
Facility & Asset Management
-
Support asset tracking, procurement, and vendor coordination.
-
Maintain office equipment and consumables inventory.
-
Monitor repairs, servicing, and asset usage to ensure efficient operations.
Bookkeeping & Accounting
-
Track petty cash and manage disbursements with supporting documentation.
-
Maintain accurate records of office-related expenses and assist with budgeting.

Ensure proper handling and reconciliation of financial transactions.
Records Management
-
Maintain digital and physical records of correspondence and documents.

Ensure secure, confidential, and organized storage and retrieval of records.
General Duties
-
Provide support to the Director of Operations.

Carry out any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar administrative role.

Strong knowledge of office management procedures and basic accounting principles.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, Access).
