Job Title: Pricing Analyst

Location: Lagos | 🕒 Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview

As a Pricing Analyst, you will be instrumental in shaping pricing strategies that enhance profitability, support market competitiveness, and align with our growth objectives. This role requires a mix of market intelligence, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze sales and pricing data to assess trends, margin performance, and pricing effectiveness.
Develop pricing models and strategies across channels (retail, distributors, horeca).
Evaluate competitor pricing and conduct regular market research to ensure competitive positioning.
Support new product launches with pricing insights and projections.
Prepare dashboards and reports for executive decision-making.
Recommend dynamic pricing adjustments based on demand, input costs, and market shifts.
Partner with Finance, Sales, and Marketing to align pricing with business goals.
Monitor the impact of promotions and optimize discounting strategies.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience in pricing, financial analysis, or revenue management (preferably in FMCG or beverage sector).
Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics tools.
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Ability to interpret complex datasets and present findings to stakeholders.
Familiarity with ERP or pricing software is a plus.
