Position Overview

We are looking to hire an experienced and proactive QHSE Coordinator to oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of quality, health, safety, and environmental standards across our operations. You’ll be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, promoting a strong safety culture, and ensuring our QMS (Quality Management System) is effectively implemented and aligned with corporate policies.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Functions:

• Organize and facilitate QHSE audits, inspections, and training programs.

• Conduct toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.

• Investigate incidents and ensure follow-up on safety concerns.

• Maintain hazard substance registers and incident logs.

• Monitor daily work practices to ensure QHSE compliance.

• Ensure all fire safety and emergency response equipment are in working condition.

• Oversee vehicle and heavy equipment (e.g., forklifts/cranes) safety compliance.

Management & Compliance:

• Advise senior management on QHSE policy and regulatory requirements.

• Conduct gap analyses and risk assessments.

• Lead internal and external audit processes.

• Ensure delivery of contractual QHSE KPIs.

• Oversee sub-contractor QHSE compliance.

• Drive implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

• Maintain proper documentation, record-keeping, and reporting systems.

• Lead training, onboarding, and employee QHSE awareness campaigns.

Culture & Leadership:

• Champion a strong QHSE culture throughout the organization.

• Engage employees and departments in active safety participation.

• Serve as QMS management representative for Eunisell.

• Report key QHSE metrics and trends to leadership.

Requirements

Education & Certifications:

• B.Sc./HND in a relevant field.

• Diploma or certification in Occupational Health and Safety.

• Professional membership (e.g., IOSH, ISPON, NEBOSH) is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 6 years in QHSE roles, including hands-on QMS implementation.

Skills:

• Certified QMS Auditor or Practitioner.

• Strong knowledge of Nigerian HSE regulations and international best practices.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in QHSE documentation, reporting, and compliance systems.
